Milk cream is great for re-hydrating the skin since it also has lactic acid which will exfoliate dry skin. The soothing nature of milk will also preserve the pH levels of skin making it great for moisturizing. For the best results add a few drops of lemon juice, one teaspoon of milk and two teaspoons of milk cream in a bowl. Rub this all over your hands and legs right before you shower and wash it off with warm water. Do this once a day or as often as necessary.

Coconut oil is great for treating dry skin since it has a good amount of fatty acids that add moisture to the skin. For the best home remedy liberally apply warm (not solid) coconut oil on your skin before you go to sleep and wash it off in the morning. You can also apply coconut oil to your dry skin after you shower or take a bath. When your skin is supple from your bath, the oil is more easily absorbed. You can do this every day or as often as needed for soft and sleek skin.
