6. Hydrogen Peroxide Is Great for Removing Organic Stains

Removing Organic Stains

If you have a pesky organic stain that just won’t seem to go away in the washing machine no matter what you do, it won’t hurt to try one more approach. Organic stains like blood, sweat, wine, or other substances can potentially stick around until it is time to trash the clothing. In order to get a few dozen more uses out of your clothes, try adding a cup of hydrogen peroxide to your next wash load and see if you can tell the difference.

5. Use Hydrogen Peroxide as a Sinus Cleanser

Use As Sinus Cleaner

Don’t let the upcoming allergy season ruin your day and keep you sniffing and clogged up for hours on end. Sometimes, getting a nasal spray or another over-the-counter remedy can be too expensive or time-consuming to purchase. If you are running low on funds or just don’t have the time to grab it at the store, try cycling some hydrogen peroxide through your nasal passages to clear them out. For best results, you may want to test it out on a day when you don’t have much to do to see if it’s right for you.
