If the smoke point is over 500 degrees F, avocado oil is perfect for browning chicken or meat in a pan. For a lower smoke point of less than 450 degrees F, there’s the option of using grapeseed oil. Grapeseed oil works well for browning in a pan as it is suited for high-heat frying.
Avocado Oil or Peanut Oil: Stir-Frying
High heat oils, such as avocado oil and peanut oil, are suitable to be used for stir-fry purposes. Since cooking any stir-fry meal requires the burner to be above medium, avocado or peanut oil is the best option as it is not harmful to be used for this type of cooking.
