Avocado Oil or Grapeseed Oil: Browning in a Pan
The type of oil that is high in healthy monounsaturated fats and neutral in flavor, avocado oil works well for browning purposes. If the smoke point is over 500 degrees F, avocado oil is perfect for browning chicken or meat in a pan. For a lower smoke point of less than 450 degrees F, there’s the option of using grapeseed oil. Grapeseed oil works well for browning in a pan as it is suited for high-heat frying.
Avocado Oil or Peanut Oil: Stir-Frying
High heat oils, such as avocado oil and peanut oil, are suitable to be used for stir-fry purposes. Since cooking any stir-fry meal requires the burner to be above medium, avocado or peanut oil is the best option as it is not harmful to be used for this type of cooking.
