Medicare Part C or Medicare Advantage Plan

This is an alternative to Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) and is offered by private insurance companies. The plan has to offer the benefits of Original Medicare at least. In some cases, standalone prescription drugs are also included in the various benefits. This type of situations falls under the Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan.
