Crispy bacon, cooked ham, and fried sausage taste great, but those meats can be contributing to your early aging. “Preservatives used in processed meats may create free radicals within the body,” said Lisa Hayim, MS, RD, and founder of The Well Necessities. “Free radicals lead to oxidation of your cells and DNA, and they can cause enough damage to lead to cancer or other health conditions.”
