If you’re like me and are not a big fruit fan, you may want to try this awesome Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie. It’s a great way to get your daily fruit requirements in but in a tasty new way. This recipe is really basic and can be whipped up in just 15 minutes, making it an excellent breakfast to-go smoothie. It is roughly 295 calories but is the perfect kick start to a long and hopefully productive day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup of greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (avoid if you are trying to avoid sugar, it’s really not required as the blueberries are sweet enough)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extra
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 3 ice cubes
Instructions
- Blend blueberries, yogurt, orange juice, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon together in a blender on low speed for 30 seconds; increase speed to high and blend until smooth, about 2 minutes. Add ice and blend on high until smooth, about 1 minute more.
- Enjoy!
